Costume photosJane Austen Film Costume ExhibitIn partnership with Jane Austen Society of North America – North Texas Chapter and with costumes loaned from NBCUniversal Archives & Collections, the AMA will feature costumes and jewelry from film adaptations of two of Austen’s most iconic works: Pride and Prejudice (2005) and Emma (2020). Bringing together costumes and accessories from two important films in the Austen world, the exhibition immerses visitors in the elegant, expressive, and often politically charged world of fashion during the Regency era. Pompeii!!! THe musicalUnder the shadow of a volcano, the citizens of Pompeii sing, dance and tell jokes in this zany vaudeville show. It's togas and tap shoes, centurions and sing-alongs in this timely satire of nationalistic hubris and narcissistic excess. Opening their brand-new home in the Design District, KDT Co-Artistic Directors Christopher Carlos and Tina Parker will direct KDT's first-ever company-created musical, which was the past recipient of a prestigious Writers Alliance Grant from the Dramatists Guild Foundation. This production also marks the first ever revisit to a past show title in the company’s 35-year history.
