FlyLady is a housecleaning cult that sucked me in years ago and changed my life. It's so much more than just how to keep your house clean and your life organized, it's about Finally Loving Yourself (FLY) enough to take care of yourself and your family so that you can have PEACE (People Enjoying A Comfortable Environment) instead of CHAOS (Can''t Have Anyone Over Syndrome). Spread your wings and fly with Flylady! Flylady is the awesome Marla Cilley.
Laughter is good for your soul and Jill Conner Browne makes me laugh and laugh and laugh. She is my personal dressing up hero and life coach because she has a book full of advice and recipes for all of life's occasions: Dating men, raising kids, getting old and fat. When I was going through my divorce, her books kept me sane, (she even wrote a Divorce/Marriage book!) If you are a woman of a certain age, you will appreciate her wit and wisdom. If you are still a cute young thing (or larvae as she refers to them) reading her books now could save you YEARS of misery. She offers THE BEST ADVICE IN THE HISTORY OF EVER: Be Particular!
Surviving the World is a photo web comic by Dr. Dante Shepherd. I met him at Aggiecon in 2013. He's hilarious. He dishes out all sorts of advice on how to survive the world, originally intended for college freshman, but I think he's hilarious and I'm old. Besides, he often pretends he's a Velociraptor.
