My good friend and Cal State alum Jason Foreman is the Scenic Designer at OCU. He runs a tight ship over there. If you want to be a scenic designer, start at McLennan and then transfer to OCU. His students absolutely love him.
This is Jason's portfolio of his scenic design work.

Chimmy Gunn is an MCC alum who is now a Technical Director, Scenic Carpenter and Stage Manager in New York City.
She's been hooked on theatre since her first gig in '96 as a Deck Manager for The Music Man at Midway High School. The following years found her at Sam Houston State University in Texas where she was a double major in Piano Performance and Technical Theatre (Stage Management.)
After graduation, she toured the US working the front of house for several Cirque du Soleil tours. Chimmy arrived in New York recently via traveling circus and has put the suitcase in storage to live and work in NYC.
When not working in scenic fabrication or on productions, Chimmy spends her spare time teaching piano and playing mad scientist.
Future projects include finishing a theremin build, a CNC machine build (from scratch!) and graduate studies in Stage Automation and Theatrical Technology at the Yale School of Drama.
